Liara becomes a mandatory squadmate after a while-you can try to build around compensating for her limitations. You will be facing primarily shielded enemies, so choose your loadout accordingly. You'll want to weigh the relatively higher difficulty of the fighting versus the extremely valuable rewards awaiting you at the end these include multiple extra weapon upgrades, ways to earn additional credits, and unlocking the ability to re-train the abilities of your squad members. There will be dialogue modifications depending on whether you already undertook the suicide mission or not. Give considerable thought to when you'll be doing this mission, weighing both storyline immersion and gameplay strategy. If you really want to save the credits you can save this mission as your last one right before undertaking the Collector Ship mission (see that page for details on when it triggers). When you complete the mission, you will be in a system that is a good three to four hundred units of fuel away from a Fuel Depot. You will have no chance to return to the Normandy or the Galaxy Map, despite its length. Once you take a cab to Liara's, this mission runs straight through to the very end. On the galaxy map this mission is titled Give Liara Intel. If you'd visit Illium and pass it on to her as a gesture of goodwill, we'd appreciate it. We recently uncovered some information that might give Liara a lead on where to find the Shadow Broker's base of operations, but unfortunately, she doesn't have much faith in Cerberus intel.
